Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
  • Proficiency in IEP documentation and progress reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in PreK12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide both direct and consultative therapy services within a classroom or resource setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices
