Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Proficiency in IEP documentation and progress reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in PreK12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services within a classroom or resource setting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and communicate results to stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices
