Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid SLP certification/licensure in Michigan
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress/completed
• Background in pediatric SLP, especially within school or healthcare settings
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through eighth grade
• Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collect data on student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
• Provide consultation and resources to parents and caregivers to encourage skill generalization beyond the classroom
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
