A rewarding opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to support students for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time, onsite position focuses on serving elementary-aged students and is ideal for candidates passionate about helping children develop essential communication skills.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology certification required
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, including SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy, both individually and in group settings, focusing on speech and language development
- Collaborate extensively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Accurately document sessions and progress, maintaining compliance and clear records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and adjust intervention strategies as needed based on student progress
