Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, beginning August 2026 through June 25, 2027. This full-time assignment is conveniently situated near Warren, MI, and offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' communication skills throughout the academic year.
Key qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan (MI)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school setting, servicing K-12 caseloads preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite; virtual or remote work is not available for this role
- Passionate about collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
In this position, you'll:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans appropriate for each student's needs
- Work with K-12 students across varying levels of ability and backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Advocate for student success by promoting a supportive classroom environment
