Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Completion of a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• State licensure as an SLP (or eligibility)
• Prior school-based SLP experience, preferably in renewal placements
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Deep commitment to facilitating student success and advocating for diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state laws
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support academic and social-emotional growth
• Monitor student progress, adapt intervention strategies, and maintain detailed records
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to assess and plan holistic student support
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
• Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
