Your background in school-based SLP services will be put to meaningful use, offering therapy tailored to each students unique needs while collaborating with education teams to ensure holistic growth and success. As a dedicated SLP with your full Certificate of Clinical Competence, youll serve a vital role in guiding communication development and overcoming barriers to learning.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience or interest working with elementary students, especially in ASD programs
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in an ASD classroom
- Assess, plan, and document progress and intervention strategies
- Work closely with teachers, aides, and parents to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all school, state, and federal requirements
