A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Melvindale, MI, offering an onsite contract role within a school setting. This opportunity focuses on providing speech and language services to children aged 3 to 5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for early childhood students.
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to children aged 3-5.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and provide progress reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathology license.
- Experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school environment.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to young children.
