Step into a rewarding opportunity serving a single student in need of specialized speech and language services for the upcoming school year. Based onsite, this part-time contract allows you to focus your expertise on providing quality support within a flexible weekly schedule: youll work just 3 to 5 hours per week, making a significant difference in a unique educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Background in school-based SLP services with experience supporting K-12 students
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment tailored to student-specific needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to professional ethics and student confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to one student currently receiving services in a separate educational environment
- Complete evaluations, develop goals, and implement plans in accordance with educational standards
- Collaborate with staff and families as needed to ensure coordinated care and student progress
- Maintain accurate records and submit timely documentation
- Adapt service delivery as appropriate to meet IEP-goals and respond to changing student needs
