Job Description

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is needed to provide specialized support within a school setting in Warren, MI. This full-time contract opportunity involves working with a caseload of approximately 40 students, primarily supporting school-aged children with diverse communication needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to IEP development.

Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time position from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM.
  • Contract duration: Immediate start through March (covering maternity leave).
  • Location: Warren, MI.
