This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking diverse experiences while working with students of varying ages and backgrounds. Youll be instrumental in fostering students academic and social development through expert evaluations, intervention planning, and evidence-based therapy.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy programs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver support and guidance
- Monitor and document student progress to ensure measurable growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, share progress reports, and provide recommendations
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students as designated
