Job Description

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support K-12 students within a school-based setting located in Waltham, MA. This contract position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time caseload options, providing a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to individualized education programming.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
  • Experience working with K-12 caseloads preferred.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with school-based service delivery models.
