Make an impact supporting students communication skills in a dynamic, contract-based Speech Language Pathologist position. This school-based opportunity offers flexibility with your workdays and the support of a welcoming staff as you provide services tailored to childrens needs. Two full-time positions are available, with 37.5 hours weekly across five days.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SC Teaching Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language services preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to address expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
