This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is based onsite in Waller, Texas, providing services to students in grades K-8. Licensed in Texas, the role offers an opportunity to work with pediatric school-aged populations, addressing speech and language needs in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to children with speech and language disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting, including expertise in school-based evaluations and therapy.
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology practices relevant to grades K-8.
- Skills aligned with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Ability to work full-time onsite and manage a diverse caseload.
