Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for California or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF candidates may be considered
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in both individual and small group formats
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Act as a resource for teachers, administrators, and families regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to multidisciplinary teams
