Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California state SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates are welcome
  • Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessment tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop instructional strategies for students
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough and compliant records
  • Provide direct intervention services individually and in small groups
