Step into an exciting contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive educational environment near Virginia Beach, VA. Multiple assignments are available to cover upcoming maternity leaves within elementary and primary school settings. Each assignment focuses on serving a single school with a set caseload and consistent weekly hours, allowing you to build meaningful rapport with your students and school team.

Assignment Details:

• Assignments begin between late February and mid-March 2027, ending on June 18, 2027
• Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Direct on-site support; virtual or hybrid options are not available
• Age groups include Pre-K through 5th Grade, depending on assignment
• Responsibilities focused within one school per assignment
• School hours range between 7:20 AM2:20 PM or 8:00 AM3:00 PM

Key Qualifications:

• Active and current Virginia SLP license is required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged children, is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to working exclusively onsite throughout the duration of the assignment
• Ability to collaborate with staff, administrators, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain student records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate progress and strategies to educators and caregivers
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
