Job Description

A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 school setting located in Virginia Beach, VA. This role provides a valuable opportunity to support students' communication development during the school year on a contract basis.

Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting school-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and families to implement effective treatment plans
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions to students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required
