This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour workweek and provides the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, work directly with students of varying needs, and engage in both the current and next school year (CSY and NSY). You'll draw on your knowledge of best practices in speech therapy while observing each student's progress and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist Certification
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary and K-12 populations, is preferred
• Familiarity with designing and executing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with students, staff, and families
• Organizational abilities to manage caseloads, document progress, and coordinate with educational professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop tailored intervention plans and monitor student progress
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in compliance with IEP objectives
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster student success
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with district and legal requirements
