Job Description

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in an elementary school setting located in Vinton, VA. This contract position requires providing specialized speech and language services during the school year (CSY) and the non-school year (NSY).

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Certification
  • Experience working with school-age children (K-12)
  • Strong ability to assess and treat speech and language disorders within an educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is based in Vinton, VA, serving an elementary school
  • Full-time contract with approximately 37.5 hours per week during both the current and next school years
