Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric caseloads
  • Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and language disorders in children
  • Comfortable working with a moderate to severe population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Provide direct therapy and interventions to students, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed
  • Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families as part of the student support team
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for optimizing student outcomes
