Job Description

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position supports a K-12 school district in Victorville, CA, providing a valuable opportunity to work directly on-site with students from PreK through 12th grade. The role involves delivering both direct and indirect speech-language services to students with mild to moderate disabilities, conducting evaluations, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, all within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students and consult with educational staff
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings adhering to established guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of evaluation protocols and IEP processes
  • Ability to deliver services on-site as this role is replacing virtual support
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Location & Schedule:

  • Position is located in Victorville, CA, supporting PreK-12 students
  • Full-time contract with 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week
  • Start date is ASAP, with some details regarding caseload to be finalized
