A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for an on-site role serving PreK-12 students, providing essential therapy and support in a school setting in Victorville, CA. This contract opportunity is designed to replace current virtual SLP services with in-person care, allowing for direct collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Support students with mild to moderate disabilities in various school settings.
- Collaborate closely with educators and administrators to optimize student outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
- Experience working in schools with diverse student populations, including pediatrics.
- Familiarity with assisting students with mild to moderate speech and language impairments.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and perform both evaluations and therapy duties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in educational environments.
Location:
- On-site in Victorville, CA, supporting the Lucerne Valley Unified School District.
- Coverage may include surrounding areas such as Chino and Corona, CA.
- Serving students from PreK through 12th grade.
Additional Details:
- Full-time hours, approximately 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
- Caseload specifics to be determined; typical duties include assessments, IEPs, and therapy.
- Interviews conducted with the school director; the hiring decision will be made promptly.
