Make a positive impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. An established educational setting near Vestal, NY is looking for motivated, skilled SLPs ready to work either onsite or, as the academic year approaches, potentially in a virtual capacity. Fill a key role by providing direct therapeutic services and supporting student communication and language development in a collaborative, school-based environment.
Desired qualifications and background:
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with interdisciplinary teams
- Valid credentials and willingness to work onsite, with possible virtual assignment closer to start date
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and design individualized intervention plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups, adapted to each students needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and data-driven problem-solving
- Adjust service delivery models as needed to meet changing caseload demands or learning environments
