Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position near the Vero Beach, FL area. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with students, helping them overcome speech, language, and communication challenges to achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students success.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment activities.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of the support environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
