Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct therapy services both individually and in groups, targeting articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress and effective classroom strategies
- Maintain detailed records and submit required documentation promptly
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to support students educational goals
