Key qualifications:

• Current North Carolina SLP license
• North Carolina DPI Special Service Personnel - School SLP Credential
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Prior experience in school-based speech/language therapy preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Dedication to fostering student growth and development

Responsibilities:

• Assess students speech and language abilities using standardized tools and informal assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Participate in school teams and IEP meetings as a collaborative partner
• Provide guidance and strategies to the educational team to create an inclusive classroom environment
