Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams, students, and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with educational and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team conferences, and staff development as needed
- Provide support, consultation, and training to school staff on communication strategies
