Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist role is available in Santa Clarita, CA, providing services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a supportive school environment. This contract position involves working five days per week, 35 hours total, at a single school site.
Location: Santa Clarita, California
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Preferred school-based experience, though not required
- Strong interest in working in a school setting encouraged
- Passion for supporting student development highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across a range of ages and needs
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support individualized student goals
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Adapt strategies to meet diverse communication challenges within the school environment
Additional Skills:
- Experience or interest in teletherapy and pediatrics is advantageous
- Familiarity with healthcare and educational settings beneficial
