A Speech-Language Pathologist with specialized expertise in school settings is sought to provide essential support within an educational environment in Van Nuys, CA. This contract opportunity begins in March 2026 and will conclude on June 4, 2026. The role offers approximately 30-35 hours per week, with exact hours to be determined, and involves managing an average caseload of around 45 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and associated interventions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining quality care.
