Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with placement in Moorpark, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders in a school setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state educational requirements.
  • Utilize teletherapy tools when applicable to extend services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments.
  • Familiarity with clinical fellowship year (CFY) procedures and practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery preferred.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • 37.5 hours per week, spread across 5 days.
  • Service age group ranges from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Position located in Moorpark, CA.
