Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Valparaiso, IN. Two talented Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are needed for the 2026-2027 academic year, with positions available for both on-site and virtual (VOCO) service delivery. Youll provide skilled speech, language, and communication support to elementary and middle school students, making a genuine difference throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license in Indiana
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Relevant experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Understanding of IEP management and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms a plus (for VOCO applicants)

Responsibilities:

  • Serve students in assigned buildings: one role covers an elementary and a middle school, the other covers two middle schools
  • Foster communication growth for caseloads of 45-55 students, focusing on both evaluation and intervention
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with educational teams and families
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation services tailored to individual student needs
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all services rendered
  • Offer insights and training to teachers and staff regarding effective communication strategies
