Job Description

This position is for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year, offering a contract opportunity in Valparaiso, IN. Both roles are ideal for professionals holding SLP credentials (CCC or School Certification) and specifically suited for candidates familiar with school-based speech therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students.
  • Manage caseloads of approximately 45-55 students.
  • The first SLP will serve one elementary and one middle school building.
  • The second SLP will serve two middle school buildings.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC or School Certification).
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently across multiple buildings.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Licensed or eligible to work in Indiana.

Work Schedule:
Contract position
37.5 hours per week
Start Date: TBD August 2026
End Date: TBD May 2027
