Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active California SLP License (required for onsite service)
  • Previous experience serving elementary and middle school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to monitor student progress
  • Document intervention plans and maintain required records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
  • Offer consultation and support to staff regarding effective strategies for speech and language development in the classroom
