Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active California SLP License (required for onsite service)
- Previous experience serving elementary and middle school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to monitor student progress
- Document intervention plans and maintain required records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Offer consultation and support to staff regarding effective strategies for speech and language development in the classroom
