Location: Vallejo, CA Contract Duration: Non-School Year

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic K-12 school environment in Vallejo, CA. The role involves managing various caseloads tailored to your expertise, providing specialized support to students with communication disorders. Candidates with prior school experience are highly preferred to ensure seamless integration within the educational setting.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC)
  • California teaching credential is required
  • Experience working in a school setting, ideally K-12
  • Proficiency with the Special Education Information System (SEIS)
  • Strong ability to manage and adapt to varying caseload demands

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement speech and language therapy interventions for students with diverse communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in SEIS
  • Monitor student progress and provide reports as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education planning
