Qualifications: Active California Speech Language Pathologist License ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) School-based experience is preferred but not required Strong interest in working in a school setting is encouraged A sincere passion for supporting and advocating for student success
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload at one school site Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and parents Maintain thorough documentation and manage confidential student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines Utilize a variety of therapy methods, including teletherapy if appropriate Support students with a range of communication needs, including pediatric and healthcare-related concerns
This position offers a stable weekly schedule of 35 hours across five days, providing the chance to build meaningful relationships within a close-knit school community.
