What Youll Bring:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • SLP-CCC credential, current and active.
  • Valid Louisiana SLP License and Louisiana Teaching Certification (required).
  • Previous school-based experience or strong interest in the school setting.
  • Skilled in administering assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering therapy to a school-aged population.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs.
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and track progress.
  • Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to IEP meetings with insight and care.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and maintain compliance with state and local regulations.
