Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and enjoys collaborating closely with educators to help students reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among students of varying ages
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Deliver therapy sessionsindividually and in groupssupporting academic and social growth
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive student support
  • Maintain thorough data collection and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates to families and staff
