In this full-time, onsite contract role, youll collaborate with educators and support staff, helping students realize their full potential through tailored speech and language interventions. This position is open immediately and runs through June 10, 2027, offering you an influential platform to foster growth, confidence, and communication skills among an urban school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Demonstrated school-based experience, specifically with middle and high school populations.
- Familiarity with serving urban communities and comfortable working in these settings.
- Proficient in completing all Pennsylvania clearance requirements prior to start.
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting; this position is onsite only.
- Flexible and able to work between the scheduled hours of 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM. No alternate scheduling available.
- Enthusiastic about working within a supportive district environment and committed to student success.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students.
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families as part of the academic support process.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation as required by district and state guidelines.
- Participate actively in school meetings and contribute to department initiatives.
