Job Description

Make a positive impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) for a rewarding contract opportunity. This full-time assignment runs from mid-August through early October to cover a maternity leave during the first 9-week school period. Located near Universal City, TX, you will work on-site across two school locations, providing vital services and supervision.

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assess, diagnose, and create effective treatment plans for communication disorders.
  • Supervise a bilingual SLPA and support their professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to enable student success.
  • Maintain clear, accurate records and timely documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports.
  • Adapt approaches and communication for a diverse, bilingual student population.
  • Comply with all district and state regulations regarding credentialing, including background checks and fingerprinting.

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Valid professional license in Texas; must be able to provide license documentation.
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills required.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor a bilingual SLPA.
  • Flexibility, professionalism, and enthusiasm for student wellness.
