Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school setting located near Universal City, TX. This position calls for a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC), either bilingual or monolingual, to provide vital services to a diverse population of PreK through 5th grade students. Youll work on-site at a single elementary school, managing a manageable caseload of 51 students and collaborating with a dynamic educational team. Candidates who are seasoned Clinical Fellows will also be considered, as the district offers strong supervision and support.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, if applicable
- Recent professional references
- Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Confidence in behavior support strategies and time management
- Flexibility to provide services to K-12 age groups
- Dedicated to serving students diverse communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to PreK-5th grade students
- Assess and document student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and staff for holistic student support
- Contribute to IEP meetings and develop targeted intervention plans
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment
