Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Your key qualifications:
- Hold a current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Possess South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Demonstrated experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students K-12, with caseload details forthcoming as the academic year approaches
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain clear documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development for student success
- Deliver therapy onsite, ensuring consistent engagement and intervention
This full-time contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek with the fulfillment of helping young learners communicate and thrive academically.
