This contract opportunity involves providing speech-language services across three school buildings, working with diverse K-12 populations. The weekly full-time schedule (35 hours) ensures plenty of time to develop relationships with students and staff while helping learners achieve their communication goals. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Experience providing speech-language services in K-12 settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to travel between assigned buildings as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Assess and treat communication disorders, creating individualized support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and assessments
- Provide strategies to teachers and families to support student growth
- Serve as a resource for language and communication development
