Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Alabama
• Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques for a variety of speech and language disorders
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Energetic, compassionate, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on young learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Utilize engaging therapy methods to foster communication skills in both individual and group settings
• Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Monitor progress, document interventions, and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with federal and state regulations
• Provide resources and support to help staff and families reinforce strategies at home and in class
