Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a student caseload from Pre-K through 8th grade in the Modesto, CA area. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic school setting serving students with mild to moderate disabilities, including those in autism and special day classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized speech and language services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Deliver services through pull-out, push-in, and consultation models.
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff.
  • Serve students across two school sites as needed, adapting to diverse educational environments.
  • Support various student populations including those in structured autism and special education classrooms.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
  • Experience working with students aged Pre-K to 8th grade.
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads involving mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with families and school personnel.
  • Availability to start promptly and commit through the end of the school year.

Location: Modesto, California
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 55 students
