Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State license or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure for SLP services in Oklahoma
- Experience providing pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focusing on speech, language, fluency, and articulation
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success and carryover of skills
- Utilize creative and age-appropriate techniques to engage students in therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records and meet all compliance requirements
