Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Comfortable adapting therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, articulation, language, and speech disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and prepare reports as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic student care
- Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and case consultations as needed
- Educate and empower school staff and families on supporting student communication goals
