Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP certification from ASHA
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working with pediatric populations in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy to elementary and middle school students
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans for students with cognitive challenges
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records as part of the special education team
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions
