Step into a contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working with a high school caseload for the 26/27 school year. This role offers a supportive environment where youll work full-time hours impacting students communication and academic success. Youll provide both direct and indirect therapy services and take on case management responsibilities, playing a critical role in students progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid New York state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy techniques to meet individual needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to high school students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans
- Provide case management for students, maintaining compliance and documentation
- Offer consultative support to staff and families, ensuring holistic student progress
- Track and report progress, adjusting strategies as necessary for optimal student outcomes
