Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) for NY
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration given to strong Clinical Fellows
  • Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver direct speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Advocate for students communication needs and participate in school meetings
  • Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district standards
