Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services at an elementary school serving grades K-5. This role is based in Troy, MI, and is contracted through the remainder of the school year. The position offers full-time hours (37.5 hours per week), with consideration for part-time applicants as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting therapy goals as needed.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to students within the classroom and small groups.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children in grades K-5, preferably in a school setting.
  • Ability to conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.
  • Commitment to supporting students' communication and educational development.
