Job Description

Make a real impact supporting students communication needs in a dynamic school setting as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is conveniently located onsite near Troy, MI, and offers the chance to work closely with one student who receives services in a unique environment. The assignment will run through June 5th, 2026, ideal for SLPs seeking a part-time role with meaningful responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience delivering school-based speech and language services highly desired
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care to students with diverse language needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to one student in accordance with their Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Provide 3 to 5 hours of direct service each week, all services delivered onsite
  • Monitor and document progress, maintaining detailed session notes and data
  • Work closely with educational staff, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Adjust therapy approaches as needed to maximize student success in an alternative setting
