A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Trenton, NJ. This role involves working under a caseload model within an established district, providing speech therapy services for students from Early Childhood through 5th grade across two assigned schools. The position offers 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a start date as soon as possible and a contract end date in June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students based on individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Support overflow caseload needs within the district to ensure all students receive timely therapy.
- Collaborate with educational staff and participate in paid team meetings and administrative duties.
- Provide therapy in designated spaces within the schools.
- Maintain documentation using the districts IEP system; training will be provided.
- Serve in an itinerant capacity, traveling between the two assigned schools as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SLP within pediatric or school settings.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and implement therapy plans.
- Familiarity with school-based therapy documentation and systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of multiple schools and students.
