This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and serves students across PreK-12 grade levels. Skills & Experience Sought:
- Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Eligibility for or possession of SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students PreK-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver targeted therapy
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes to both staff and families
- Provide support and training to classroom staff to support students language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations and planning
